Jacquet River Students Embrace Truth and Reconciliation: A Heartfelt Visit to Pabineau

Today, we were honored to receive a visit from a class from Jacquet River, who came to Pabineau to present letters to our community on the topic of Truth and Reconciliation. It was a moving experience to witness young students expressing their thoughts and reflections on this important matter.

As we work towards healing and creating a future rooted in understanding, it’s encouraging to see the next generation embracing the values of reconciliation. These letters symbolize hope, progress, and a commitment to recognizing the truth of our history while fostering a spirit of respect and unity.

Their words serve as a powerful reminder that reconciliation isn’t just about the past; it’s about building a more just and inclusive future. Seeing the efforts of our youth gives us strength to continue this vital work and ensure that Truth and Reconciliation remains at the heart of our journey forward.
