A Monument to honour the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women
We wanted to share a big thank you to everyone who attended the unveiling of our new monument to honour the MMIW. Thank you to all those who made it possible to create the monument and host the event. Special Congratulations to the artist Felicia Mae Galbraith.
MMIW is working with provinces, territories, Indigenous organizations and communities nationwide to end racism, discrimination and violence against Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQI+ people. Our efforts to stand together do not go unnoticed.

Public Security Enhancement
Established in 2020, the Pabineau First Nation Public Security Service plays a vital role in nurturing safety within the community. Through dedicated patrols, this service serves as an additional layer of protection, working in tandem with the R.C.M.P. to deter criminal activities and ensure the welfare of all residents. They adopt the role of peacekeepers. Their presence fosters a sense of security, comfort, and trust. As they navigate their rounds with a watchful eye and a welcoming demeanour, the Pabineau First Nation Public Security Service exemplifies the power of collaboration in mitigating crime.
