Pabineau First Nation community members are invited to join Mi’gmawe’l Tplu’taqnn Inc. (MTI) for an important virtual panel discussion as we begin the journey toward the 300th anniversary of the Peace and Friendship Treaties. This event brings together respected Mi’kmaq leaders, scholars, and knowledge-keepers to share their insights on Treaty relationships past, present, and future.

MTI is honoured to welcome an exceptional panel of speakers whose work continues to shape our understanding of Treaty rights and responsibilities:

On November 26, 2025, community members from across Mi’gmawe’l Tplu’taqnn Inc. are invited to join a Virtual Community Engagement Session with Natural Forces to learn more about several important renewable energy projects currently underway:

This session is an opportunity to hear project updates, understand how these initiatives align with our community values, and learn how they may impact our lands, our Treaty rights, and the long-term wellbeing of our people. Community members are encouraged to bring their questions, thoughts, and concerns to help guide these projects in a direction that reflects the interests and priorities of Mi’kmaq communities.
