Join us for a hands-on, family-friendly event centered around the Canadian Geographic Indigenous Peoples of Canada Giant Floor Map!
This unique opportunity invites community members of all ages to walk across a massive (36 by 26 feet!) floor map that details traditional territories, treaties, Indigenous languages, and more. We invite you to explore the deep connections between land, language, treaties, and Indigenous well-being. Through self-guided activities, story-sharing, and interactive stations, participants will discover how Indigenous communities are shaped by - and shape - the land we share. Whether you're a teacher, student, community leader, or lifelong learner, this experience offers an opportunity to learn from and with community.
