Pabineau First Nation Students, This is Your Opportunity!
We are excited to share an incredible scholarship opportunity for post-secondary students through the Bank of Canada. The Bank of Canada is offering CAD $8,000 scholarships to assist students who identify as Indigenous, members of a visible minority group, LGBTQ2S+, or students with disabilities. This program is designed to remove barriers to education and support greater diversity in the workforce.
What is the Scholarship Program?
These scholarships aim to support students pursuing post-secondary studies in fields related to the Bank’s work, including:
Economics & Finance
Administration & Operations
Information Technology & Cyber Security
In addition to the scholarship, successful candidates may also be offered a work opportunity at the Bank with mentorship from a Bank employee.
To Be Considered for the Scholarship, You Must:
Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
Be pursuing post-secondary studies at the University or College level (either full-time or part-time) in a field related to the Bank’s work:
Economics & Finance: economics, computer science, mathematics or statistics, commerce, or business administration with a finance major
Administration & Operations: financial services, administration and business, project management, human resources, accounting, communications and web development, internal audit, security production, knowledge and information management, and security
Information Technology & Cyber Security: software development, network engineering, solution architecture, project management, business analysis, and cyber security
Have an overall average grade of 70% or higher
Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the Fall 2025 academic year
