Meet Our New Mental Health Clinician: Sébastien Godin, RN

We’re excited to introduce Sébastien Godin, a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in mental health who will be providing services to the community. Sébastien brings a wealth of experience from various healthcare settings, including psychiatric and forensic assessment, geriatric care, and cardiac care. His holistic, patient-centered approach ensures individuals feel supported, respected, and empowered in their healing journey.

About Sébastien

Sébastien graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Université de Moncton and has worked in diverse healthcare settings, including:

Mental Health Nursing – Supporting individuals at Pabineau First Nation Health Centre and as part of the FACT Team at Bathurst Community Mental Health Centre
Psychiatric & Forensic Assessment – Providing care for individuals with complex mental health needs
Geriatric & Long-Term Care – Helping enhance the quality of life for older adults
Cardiac Care Unit – Delivering specialized nursing care to cardiac patients
Clinical Educator – Mentoring and training healthcare professionals

With a strong focus on mental health awareness and culturally informed care, Sébastien is committed to creating a safe and supportive space for individuals navigating mental health challenges.
