My name is Terry Richardson and I have been Chief in Pabineau First Nation since April of 2020. Prior to this I was a councillor for the community for 8 years, and also worked in Capital Construction for the Band.
My life has been defined by service. I spent 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces in a multitude of positions, mostly in the administrative and financial fields. I had the opportunity to serve in many theatres of operations including the Gulf of Qatar, Sarajevo, and twice in Afghanistan and worked in a variety of different fields. These included Nuclear Biological Defense Operator, Construction and Engineering, and various roles and duties within the financial sector.
I have had the privilege of serving my community of Pabineau for the last 13 years. In my role as Chief, I hope to take the lessons I have learned through all of my experiences, and use them to build up the community and it’s people.
