Councillor Terry Richardson

Over the years, I have completed a number of accredited community college courses and accumulated a wide variety of qualifications from the military.  My ability to communicate openly with individuals has led me to opportunities where I am able to represent communities affiliated with the Assembly of First Nation Chiefs in New Brunswick.  Most recently I have been asked to sit on a working group seeking First Nation contract set asides and employment opportunities within CFB Gagetown.

My Family

I am fortunate to have in my life my two boys Matthew and Michael.  Both my boys have graduated from High School and are working in Moncton. I raised my boys after their mother and I attended mediation, where the boys decided to live with me. My youngest son, Michael, is 23 years old and is working for Trevali Mining Caribou site .  My oldest son, Matthew, is 26 and is pursuing a career in the armed forces.   I recently established ties with my daughter, Julie, who was given up for adoption when I was 16 years old. She has gone on to a successful life and has two children of her own. I have three brothers and two sisters who have all moved to various parts of Canada and the world. I have many nieces, nephews, and cousins who are pursuing careers as well. I am very proud of my family, who hold many values that I possess.  I have a very strong work ethic, am a believer that honesty is always the best policy, and believe that it is very important to volunteer time for causes.
